The RT-AN-MU3 is a 1/4 wave UHF whip antenna for installation on the metal roof of vehicles with Raveon’s GPS tracking transponders in them. This antenna is used for sending and receiving the UHF signals. You will also need a GPS receiver antenna.
To install this antenna, you will also need an NMO mount. The NMO mount has the coax cable on it that will connect to the antenna. A hole is drilled in the roof of the vehicle, and the NMO mount is secured into the hole. This RT-AN-MU3antenna whip is then screwed onto the NMO mount onto the roof of the vehicle being tracked.
