Ravtrack Starter Kit

The easiest way to make a GPS tracking system is with two or more of Raveon’s UHF RV-M7 GPS transponders, and a suitable mobile or portable GPS display such as a Lowrance or Garmin plotter. With one RV-M7 connected to a GPS display, it will show the location of the other RV-M7, as well as the location of any other RV-M7transceivers within radio range.

The RavTrack Basic GPS tracking system requires no PC, no satellite system, no-monthly fees, and no cellular network. The system uses the UHF radio frequency band, for long-range interference-free communications. The intelligent interface in the RV-M7 transponder can communicate with many standard GPS receivers, allowing them to display not only their own location, but also the location of other RV-M7 transponders within radio range.   • Does not effect the operation of your GPS. New waypoint icons will appear, showing the location of any RV-M7 transponder within radio range of the Base Display.
  • Any of the tracked vehicle may also have a GPS display in them. Everyone can see everyone else!

  • Ignition input to automatically turn the RV-M7 off when the vehicle is off.
  • Proximity alarm output to warn when two vehicle get close to each other.
  • Private Security Key to prohibit any other radio from monitoring your location transmissions.
  • Fastest update rate available. User programmable, and as fast as once-per-second.
