Map Image Files
   

Geotiff files  (RavTrack PC will use the embedded calibration)
Any .jpg, .tiff, or .gif graphics file
Photos, sat imagery, Google Earth captures, scanned maps, or screen captures may be used
User may easily switch between available maps stored on local hard drive
Comes with standard database of high-quality icons to display tracked objects
Supplied with a calibration utility to create user-defined maps

No internet connection required to display maps
User may add custom icons to display specialize vehicles or points of interest
ESRI shape files may be imported and overlaid on the map.

DataBases
   

All information in the system is stored in a number of databases, allowsing for external programs to easily access vehicle information. The database are:
Tracked Objects: Microsoft Access. One record for each RV-M7.
    Fields:     ID, Name, Status, Time, Date of last report, Lat, Lon, Altitude, Alerts, Speed, Direction, Inputs, GPS status, Icon used, Voltage, Temperature, Radio Signal Strength, time stamps, nearest POI
System Log File: Microsoft Access. One record for each position report received over the air.
    Fields:     Entry Number, ID, Status, Time, Date, Lat, Lon, Alerts, Speed, Altitude, Inputs, UTC time, Voltage, Temperature, RSSI, Operator Text
Geo-Fence Database
System Log Filter: Log all activity or log only moving objects.

Map Home Location
    Predefined "Home" location for reporting and alerting.
Center map on current position as reported by local GPS
Center map on a fixed lat-lon
Optionally draw circles around home location
On-click to re-center map on home location
Alerts Triggered Based on User-Defined Rules:
   

Zone alert. Entering or leaving
Zone speeding
Low battery
Speeding (too fast or too slow)
Idling too long
Not reporting
Proximity to points of Interest on the map
Distance from home location
Distance from user-defined Point of Interst
Digital input status

Alert Actions
    Message box pop-up showing ID and rule that caused the alert
Play a .wav file
Execute a shell program
Send an email
Log the event to the database
Display alert in alert-list
User may tag alerts as acknowleged
